Intention of Committee: To maintain the alignment of the Institute's professional development, training and certification objectives to deliver to the current and future leadership and positioning of the profession. Committee Objectives:
Responsibility/Powers:
Meetings: The committee shall meet twice yearly face to face, via telephone or video conference as considered appropriate by the Chairman. Quorum: A quorum shall be three (3) members. Constitution of Committee: The Business Alignment and Industry Directions Committee is to made up of individuals of appropriate experience and calibre to promote the alignment of the Institute and its Membership with the CEO and Director community. Its members are likely to be drawn from current or past CEOs, CFOs, Directors or Senior Government positions. Review of Committee: The Chairman shall meet at least once annually separately with each member of the committee to discuss performance. Committee Appointment and Tenure: Appointment of members will be confirmed annually. Administrative support: Committee members will be provided with agendas, recommendations, minutes and supporting papers for consideration prior to each meeting, and such general administrative support as may be required from time to time. The charters of the committees are scheduled to be reviewed and authorised by the relevant committees and the Board of Governors by early 2008. |
